The Blacklight Community has created a number of Plugins, for specific types of searching, indexing and displaying data. Here are some of the most notable.

  • Spotlight

    Spotlight enables librarians, curators, and others who are responsible for digital collections to create attractive, feature-rich websites that highlight these collections.

  • GeoBlacklight

    A multi-institutional open-source collaboration building a better way to find and share geospatial data.

  • Blacklight Maps

    Provides map views for Blacklight for items with geospatial coordinate (latitude/longitude) metadata.

    MARC-specific enhancements to Blacklight

  • Blacklight OAI Provider

    OAI-PMH service endpoint for Blacklight applications

  • Blacklight Gallery Views

    Gallery views for Blacklight search results

  • Blacklight Access Controls

    Provides access controls for Blacklight-based applications. Much of this code was extracted from hydra-access-controls

  • Blacklight CQL

    Provides for CQL search queries that map to Solr and Blacklight fields.
